The Martini Shot!

In film-speak that's the last shot of the movie (because then everybody goes out for a martini). We were lucky to be back at Hamburger Mary's MKE (doubling for the interior of the neighborhood bar). There, we shot a performance by Ruby Razzamataz played by Milwaukee's own Dear Ruthie and voiced by Melissa Piggot, then of UWM. This scene was t be inserted into the middle of the story. We continued the editing process to string together all the great camera, sound and acting to tell our story on film.

This is a short clip of the Aria and the great voice over coordination between Melissa's lovely voice and Dear Ruthie's incredible, impeccable skill.

NOTE 2024: Lovely as this was, we cut the Aria in the final edits. Mostly, it was a time thing. Come to the screening (date pending) and we'll have a cocktail and discuss. (LC)
