Sunday April 22, 2018 we shot the opening scene of Walters Wedding at the Milwaukee County Zoo. In our story, Walter works as a custodian at the zoo. Scene One from the shooting script reads:

1. A ZOO MORNING

A large man pushes a yellow mop bucket down an empty public space inside a monkey house. He wears a uniform with his name WALTER and the title FACILITIES.

He passes a zookeeper at work in an enclosure, the keeper gives a wave and a greeting.

Walter looks at the floor and gives a nod as he goes... when he passes an enclosure with 2 spider monkeys he stops. He looks at them - they come forward. They make eye contact - he speaks a curt greeting. He does not smile.

Walter: Tony, Beverly.

Walter walks on and continues to look down at the floor

The doors to the area have opened and people begin streaming in.

They surge around him happily interacting with each other. Families, couples, bus groups of elderly people.... All of them connected to others.... Walter walks on like he's the only person in the world.

Here are a few stills from the video.
